Our Story started 4.14.05

It all started in 2005, in a land far far away at UMass Amherst.  Myron and I worked together at a local food place.  He was a greasy line cook and I was a cute delivery driver.  Myron asked me out persistently for several months before I finally accepted, with encouragement from a friend.  Once I realized how much we had in common and how cute he was when he wasn't greasy, we were inseperable.  I moved in with him in the winter of 2005/2006 and graduated soon after.  He got a job in Boston and we both moved into our own apartment closer to the city.  I returned to school in 2007 and Myron proposed July 15, 2008.  We're planning a wedding when I finally graduate as a nurse in 2010.

The Proposal 7.15.08

It was a regular Tuesday.  I had just gotten home from work and planned to take my new bike out for a ride.  I was dawdling around in the kitchen, making pudding and procrastinating my bike ride.  Myron called me and told me to hurry up and that he was on his way home from work.  So I went out for my ride so I'd be done by the time he got home.  I hadn't ridden in years so it was short anyways, only about 20 minutes.  When I got home, nothing seemed out of the ordinary.  I didn't even realize he was home yet!  When I got to the hallway, leading me into the bedroom was an arrow made out of pink rose petals.  And spelled out on the bed, in rose petals, were the words "Marry Me?"  I covered my mouth in shock and kept saying "Oh my God!"  He came in the room, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!  Of course I said YES (in between the "Oh my God's!")  He had champagne ready, which we enjoyed before heading out to a restaurant in the North End of Boston.  It was a perfect Tuesday evening.  After 3 years together, I had been expecting a proposal every Valentines Day, birthday, Christmas, etc.  He wouldn't have surprised me any other way but this!!
